YOUNG HEART ATTACK - Mouthful Of Love (2004) FLAC

Mouthful Of Love

Hailing from Austin, Texas, Young Heart Attack is heavily influenced by MC5 (in fact, a cover version of Over And Over is included here!), but also we find traces of other bands like Blue Cheer or even The Who. What really does the trick is the combination of male/female voices carried out by Chris Hodge (think of a miniaturized Ian Hunter) and Jennifer Stephens (one of my favorite women in Rock music, actually), tangled together in a blizzard of High Energy riffs. Enjoy!

Video: Short films inspired by 28 WEEKS LATER

The following is a pair of short, promotional films inspired by 28 Weeks Later, which are worth watching!

The first one is called Jealous Rage, and after watching it, one question cropped up: did the bitch get what she deserved? She might not but... you know the old saying: you play with fire, you get burned.

Jealous Rage

The second one is called 77 Days Later, and I can't help feeling bad for the poor dude. Amazing footage!

THE PRIMITIVES - Galore (1991) [vinyl rip]

You Are The Way

Can't wait to have their new album Echoes And Rhymes in my hands! In the meantime, I picked their 1991 album Galore from my vinyl collection, dusted it off and been enjoying it a lot these days. It's amazing how well it stands the test of time! Enjoy!

Video: AC/DC - It's A Long Way To The Top

I'm reading a biography of Bon Scott, and as a consequence I'm totally immersed in Bon Scott's AC/DC these days. He undoubtedly was one of the most charismatic and magnetic frontmen in Rock music ever (if not the best!) and, in my opinion,  much better than Brian Johnson will ever be! Ok, here's the video for It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock'n'Roll) featuring the band playing in 1976 on top of a platform attached to a truck head, as it drives through the streets of Melbourne. Brilliant!

And... well, I can't help posting this amazing video! As one commenter on Youtube says, Bon looks here like a prettier version of Sarah Jessica Parker (LOL!).

In any case, Bon Scott was the true personification of what Rock'n'Roll should be: fun, entertainment, loudness, passion and attitude.
